I’m Michael Miller, President and CEO of AUM. I’ve been with the company since 2000, and have worked in the property management industry for 22 years.
When I first came to AUM, it was a small, regional utility bill processing company. Today, we’re grown to be a national energy services provider and utility management company that provides utility management expertise to multifamily owners.
Our business grew naturally over the years because of the partnership-like relationship we have with our multifamily clients, providing them with the services they need that helped us expand our offerings to include energy solutions and management, resident billing, and utility submetering services. My particular expertise lies in sustainability and alternative energy sources.
I’m active in the multifamily industry, participate on the Board of Directors of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), and have held similar positions with other industry groups, such as the Chicagoland Apartment Association.
